Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Custodial Supervisor to join our growing team in Mercer County, NJ. This is a part-time position where you will supervise and mentor individuals with disabilities who have been trained to provide janitorial services. The Custodial Supervisor will ensure that all custodial responsibilities are met while promoting a positive and inclusive environment for program participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor individuals with disabilities, providing guidance and support to ensure all custodial responsibilities are met.
  • Perform cleaning duties as required and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Arrange backup cleaning support as needed and assume cleaning responsibilities when necessary.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and janitorial equipment is well-maintained.
  • Maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Communicate ongoing needs and updates with supervisors, ensuring proper coordination.
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and professionally, providing leadership in critical moments.
  • Provide transportation for program participants to and from job sites using agency vehicles.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of custodial experience.
  • Prior experience in custodial services required.
  • Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with program participants, team members, and supervisors.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering a respectful and supportive environment.
  • Must be reliable and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends if needed.
  • Valid Driver's License:
    Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 3 moving violations/suspensions in the past 3 years.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.
