ResponsibilitiesThe Project Supervisor is a hands‑on leader responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the New Jersey State Police records conversion project, transforming microfiche and microfilm records into secure digital images. This role manages daily operations, staff performance, training, production goals, quality standards, project timelines, and client communications to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of high‑quality digital records.
- Supervise, train, and support staff including scan operators, quality assurance personnel, and indexers
- Provide direct supervision and support to employees, promoting professional growth and workplace success (including employees with developmental and intellectual disabilities)
- Foster and maintain an inclusive, respectful, and productive work environment
- Oversee project plans by assigning tasks, timelines, and staff
- Serve as a primary contact for the client and Accses New Jersey
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact timelines, quality, security, or project outcomes
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of the conversion process for quality control and process improvement
- Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience in a production, records management, document imaging, or related environment
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Knowledge of document conversion, scanning operations, quality assurance processes, and records management practices preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearances and comply with CJIS Security Policy requirements
