Registered Nurse; RN Supervisor

Preferred Care at Mercer is seeking a motivated and creative Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to be part of our growth in an enjoyable atmosphere. The RN Supervisor will assist in leading the clinical team for the 100‑bed facility which includes short‑term and long‑term residents. With experienced regional nursing support and guidance, the candidate will be set up for success.

• The RN Supervisor is accountable for the administrative, clinical, and professional development of facility personnel for the designated shift.
• The RN Supervisor coordinates, directs, and oversees all aspects of the delivery of nursing care.
• The RN Supervisor demonstrates competence in leadership and relevant clinical experience.
• The RN Supervisor collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals; complies with orders in a timely manner.
• The RN Supervisor conducts unit rounds, ensuring that clinical practices are delivered within the facility's established standards of care.

• Current Registered Nurse License
• The RN Supervisor must be courteous and professional with an exceptional "bedside manner" and have a high tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations.
• The RN Supervisor must have the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and clientele through sound business decisions, diplomacy, and discretion.
