OverviewThe Wireless Sales Expert is responsible for operating in their assigned store(s) and ensuring goals for each store are met. Additionally, the Wireless Sales Expert will be responsible for cash register receipts, inventory, customer service, and ensuring the integrity of all policies and procedures of the company. This position reports to the Store and Area Manager.
Responsibilities- Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
- Manages sales transactions. Processes sales by creating or updating customer profile records in Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Presents, promotes and sells products/services using company trainings to existing and prospective customers.
- Qualifies and analyzes existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed upon sales goals and outcomes within calendar month.
- Implements sales with team members and other departments.
- Work with Store Manager/Area Sales Manager in “Owning The Mile”. Helping with in store and grass roots marketing for assigned store or market.
- Supply management with customer feedback, problems, and interest. Updates management team of local competitive activities, and potential for new products and services for customers.
- Stays updated of best practices and promotional trends within wireless industry.
- Update store inventory requests and organize inventory with Store Manager.
- Assists with store inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Comply with inventory aging policies (FIFO).
- Maintain a fun, clean and exciting work environment for customers and team members.
- Ability to thrive in an environment of constant change.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
- Use the sources of communication provided by the Company (Gmail Suite).
- Alerts management of potential security issues.
- Other duties that align with the mission and vision of the company.
- Willingness to coexist in a diverse work environment and customer base.
To be considered for the Wireless Sales Expert position, candidates must have open availability and be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications- High school diploma: 1 to 3 years’ experience in a retail environment, previous wireless industry experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Must possess the ability to use technology applicable to role, and to access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
- Detail oriented with a priority of accuracy. Strong organizational skills and proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple goals and tasks.
- Demonstrate passion for the brand, products, services and solutions offered to our customers.
- Proven successful sales track record.
- Positive attitude, creative thinker.
- The ability to work multiple locations is a plus.
- Routine use of maintenance equipment in the performance of the job, requiring lifting, pulling, pushing.
- Use of arms, legs, hands, eyes, hearing for technical and general maintenance, inventory, and warehouse tasks.
- This position requires frequent verbal and written communication skills.
- This position requires basic math skills to calculate change (money), formulas, commissions, discounts, etc.
- Frequent stooping, bending, crouching, standing and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
