TRADE Transportation is Mercer County's paratransit service dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and compassionate non-emergency transportation for older adults and individuals with disabilities. As a Driver, you will play a vital role in helping our residents maintain access to healthcare, community services, and daily essentials.

We welcome both full-time and part-time candidates—our need is immediate, and we are flexible in filling these important positions.

• Safely operate County vehicles to transport elderly and disabled passengers
• Assist passengers boarding and exiting vehicles, including operation of wheelchair lifts
• Escort passengers to and from their homes or destinations when needed
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, minor servicing, and cleaning
• Maintain accurate trip records and provide basic reporting
• Respond to emergencies or passenger needs calmly and professionally

• A valid New Jersey driver's license
• For our current fleet and immediate need a CDL with passenger endorsement is needed

• Knowledge of safe transportation practices for elderly and disabled individuals
• Ability to operate vehicles safely and with care
• Familiarity with local geography and trip routing
• Strong interpersonal skills and patience when working with vulnerable populations
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols
