Piano Accompanist

The Excelsior Springs School District is seeking a piano accompanist at the Excelsior Springs High School. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, good communication skills, the ability to read and play piano music, and the ability to establish and maintain good rapport with students and teachers. The candidate must also pass a MHP background check. Responsibilities include working closely with the vocal music director and the theatre director, providing musical accompaniment to individual students and groups, and accompanying students and providing musical accompaniment to various musical performances and extracurricular activities throughout the school year.

Evening and weekend hours may be required a few times throughout the school year.
