Responsibilities- Timely preparation of loan documents
- Build and maintain loan files, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete
- Order title work and appraisals
- Gather and organize security documents
- Collect relevant information from the borrower
- Pull credit reports, conduct research, and provide relevant information and details to the loan officer
- Enter desired loan terms and information into core operating system and ensure that payment/billing terms and ticklers are in place
- Maintain accurate records of loan disbursements
- Ensure payments are processed correctly
- Interface with customer over the life of the loan to answer questions and gather updated information
- Prepare required documentation for Freddie Mac, Farmer Mac, USDA
- High school diploma
- 3 years or more of professional experience in banking, finance, or loan servicing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Effective use of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Integrity and confidentiality in the handling of sensitive financial information
- Ability to collaborate and interface effectively with loan officers, supervisors, and peers
- Strong capabilities in customer service; comfortable engaging with and helping customers
- Familiarity with Finastra Laser Pro software preferred
