We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our evening shift team at our Excelsior Springs, Missouri location. As an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Aspire Senior Living Excelsior Springs, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents, their families, and our community.
About the Role- Provide quality patient care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing staff and physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience
- Provide direct patient care to residents on the evening shift, including vital signs, wound care, and medication administration
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in care conferences and meet with residents and family members to discuss care plans and concerns
- Demonstrates a commitment to resident-centered care, advocating for their rights and dignity
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Missouri
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care with compassion and empathy
