Job Description
Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer responsible for meeting merchandising needs of customers, building relationships, stocking shelves, and maintaining displays for world‑famous brands such as Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, and more.
- Represent Mondelēz in front of in‑store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize visibility of products and construct promotional displays.
- Conduct in‑store visits according to Mondelēz DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
- Order product via iPad Tablet to ensure shelf and display in‑stock conditions.
- Ensure Nabisco leading brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained using Mondelēz guidelines.
- Ensure sales representatives’ negotiated plans with store managers are followed and communicate any issues to Mondelēz management.
- Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure efficient in‑store service.
- Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
- Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license for the state of residence.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Positive, professional, self‑motivated, capable of working independently.
- Ability to drive personal vehicle to store locations; mileage reimbursed.
- Ability to perform hard work in a fast‑paced environment, including repetitive lifting, bending, carrying up to 25 lbs and occasionally pushing or pulling over 50 lbs.
- Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
- Live within 25‑35 miles of the primary location (Liberty, MO) or secondary locations (Excelsior Springs, MO; Kearney, MO).
- Schedule availability:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, starting 7‑8 am.
- Hourly compensation rate of $17.50.
