Automotive Detailer

An automotive detailer is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and protecting the interior and exterior of vehicles to maintain their appearance and value.

Automotive detailers will work under the supervision of the General Sales Manager to perform thorough cleaning and restoration of vehicles, ensuring they meet company or client standards. Key duties include:

• Exterior Cleaning and Restoration - washing new and used vehicles on the sales lots
• Interior Detailing - vacuuming, shampooing carpets, steam cleaning surfaces, treating leather and vinyl, deodorizing, and applying conditioners or protective agents to make each vehicle ready for sale
• Minor Cosmetic Repairs - repairing small scratches, chips, or imperfections in the vehicle's bodywork
• Engine and Wheel Care - cleaning and degreasing engine bays, dressing plastic and rubber components, and detailing wheels and tires to remove brake dust and grime
• Inspection and Quality Control - conducting final inspections to ensure all surfaces meet established standards before client delivery

Work Environment:
This role is at a new and used car dealership. The role involves manual labor and may include exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
