Credential/Materials Requirement
1) Valid California Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit or valid Preliminary or Clear California Teaching Credential (multiple subject, single subject, education specialist)
2) Completion of District Sub Packet
3) Fingerprint clearance through DOJ/FBI background check (to be completed upon hire or is on the Countywide Substitute List)
4) Provide a copy of TB Test/Risk Assessment (upon hire)
Certificated Substitute Salary
Schedule:
-Daily Rate $200.00 per day
-Long-Term Assignment Daily Rate: $250 per day (Positions consisting of 20 days or more for the same teacher)
Important Notice:
Effective January 1, 2025, under Education Code section 44939.5 (amended by California AB 2534), applicants for certificated positions must list all prior employment with school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, and state special schools, regardless of duration, including full-time, part-time, and substitute work. Failure to disclose all previous educational employment may result in application disqualification or, if hired, termination for dishonesty.

The town of Exeter is situated at the base of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.
