Senior Director, Commercial Markets – Agriculture

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of large agricultural clients, taking responsibility for the overall relationship strategy within the client’s RBC relationship team
• Provide an exceptional client experience by delivering proactive and customized business and financial advice, demonstrating a deep understanding of your clients’s business and industry
• Acquire and grow Senior Commercial Markets client relationships, collaborating with the client relationship team and bringing the full breadth of RBC to businesses, business owners and their employees
• Work in close partnership and collaboration with CFS Finance to manage and support complex client credit needs, demonstrating strong credit acumen, as well as sound risk mitigation and portfolio oversight
• Foster internal and external strategic partnerships and centres of influence (COIs) to meet the business’s strategic goals while focusing on target market clients
• Ensure clients are enabled to leverage digital solutions for themselves and their business

• University degree in Agriculture with strong financial analysis skills
• Minimum 3-5 years’ commercial banking experience specialized in Agriculture
• Proven track record in business development and exceptional client relationship management skills
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Deep knowledge of banking products and services, including industry specialized knowledge, as applicable
• Experience and comfort with emerging technology e.g. video conferencing, social media, digital banking and mobile applications
