KBW has partnered with a leading manufacturer in their search for an Assistant Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression with one of the premier companies in the area.
Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Maintenance of internal controls
- Domestic and international tax filing
- Oversee the maintenance of accounting systems
- Devise and implement process improvements
- External audit coordination
- Variance analysis and reporting
- Lead and mentor the accounting team
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Bachelor’s in accounting, finance or business
- Masters and/or CPA strongly preferred
- More than four years accounting experience within public accounting or public/private mix
- Prior experience managing a team
- Strong systems skills including a large ERP and Excel fluency
Compensation: $,000 plus bonus and benefits.
