Office Manager

Location: Exeter, NH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Office Manager to serve as the operational backbone of a growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, takes pride in producing accurate work, and thrives in a close-knit office environment where personality and teamwork matter just as much as technical skills.

While the office is not customer-facing with heavy foot traffic, this individual will play a critical role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. From managing invoices and reviewing data to supporting office organization and administrative processes, this person will be a trusted partner to ownership and the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Manage invoicing activities through Quick Books, including sending, receiving, and tracking invoices.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Review reports, documents, and calculations for accuracy before final distribution.
  • Perform quality control checks on spreadsheets and other business documents.
  • Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and administrative projects as needed.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and coordinate replenishment of materials.
  • Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming office environment.
  • Provide general administrative support to leadership and team members.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Comfort working with numbers and performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Experience using Excel in a business setting, with the ability to understand and work within existing spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with Quick Books or similar accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.
