Job DescriptionWe have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveying graduate to work within our cost management and Infrastructure teams, to help provide construction cost management services to our clients in the UK & Ireland and around the world. This is a new regional team looking to grow to support our key sectors such as Defence, Environment, Transport and Water.
Service Areas- Commercial – new build, refurbishment and fit out for major property developers.
- Manufacturing, Industrial and Automotive facilities.
- Education establishments including schools, academies, colleges and universities.
- Health and Science – for leading edge health authorities and research organisations.
- Leisure and Culture projects such as theatres, concert halls and museums.
- Infrastructure schemes, including large scale rail, highways, and water projects.
Graduates will work on local projects and interact with teams across the UK and potentially further afield. They will be involved in all stages of a project from initial project definition and brief, cost planning, through to procurement, construction and building use. They will work with a wide variety of clients and designers including high-profile names, learning by doing and being given responsibility.
They will need to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Cost modelling and cost planning; value and risk analysis; procurement tasks and managing tender processes; compilation of contract documentation. - Post
- Contract:
Attendance at site progress meetings; completion of valuations; review and management of change control procedures.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying & Construction Economics (preferably RICS or SCSI accredited).
- Effective decision making and strong verbal and written communication.
- Proactive and driven approach to work and promoting success.
- Ability to work in a team of diverse individuals to meet common objectives.
- Commitment to meeting deadlines set by clients and managers.
- Good organisational skills: ability to manage multiple tasks and willingness to ask for help when needed; support other members of the team.
You must have permanent right to work in the UK & Ireland, as we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this position.
