Do you have hands‑on experience in Bricklaying, Maintenance, Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, or a related trade? Are you passionate about developing the next generation of skilled professionals?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and supportive individual to join our Bricklaying and Maintenance team, helping learners develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in the construction industry.

About the RoleAs a Teacher within our Construction faculty you will inspire and support learners through high‑quality teaching, training and assessment. You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons, monitor learner progress and help students achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
Alongside teaching, you’ll play an important pastoral role, providing guidance and encouragement through group tutorials, one‑to‑one support and target setting. You’ll also work closely with parents, carers and colleagues to ensure learners receive the support they need to succeed.
We are looking for someone who:- Has industry experience in Bricklaying, Maintenance, Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, or a related trade.
- Is passionate about sharing their skills and knowledge with others.
- Has experience of coaching, mentoring, training or supporting apprentices, trainees or students.
- Demonstrates a commitment to outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Takes a supportive and learner‑centred approach.
