Clark Wood is working with a highly regarded and rapidly expanding firm of chartered accountants in the South West. The firm seeks a driven and ambitious Corporate Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to join their established and growing corporate tax team. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base. They offer an excellent environment for an aspiring tax professional.

Work closely with experienced corporate tax specialists and the wider multi‑disciplinary tax team, supporting a broad range of compliance and advisory assignments. Prepare corporation tax computations and returns, undertake technical research, assist with capital allowances, R&D claims, transactional tax work and due diligence projects, and help deliver restructuring and planning assignments. Manage projects to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery, and support/mentor junior team members.

At least two years’ experience in a corporate tax compliance role. Qualified or part‑qualified as ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA, with a strong desire to continue studying. Solid technical knowledge, excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, ability to manage deadlines, strong interpersonal skills. Experience with Alphatax would be advantageous.
