Tax Manager Exeter | Competitive Salary | Up to 36.25 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday | Permanent | Full Time or Part Time Introduction

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager to deliver a mix of compliance and advisory services, manage client relationships, and support the development of a growing tax team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of tax matters and the opportunity to contribute to departmental growth and success.

Key Duties
  • Deliver tax compliance and advisory services to a varied client portfolio.
  • Provide tax planning advice and act as a key point of contact for clients.
  • Review tax returns and oversee complex tax matters.
  • Support tax advisory projects and identify tax planning opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with current tax legislation and best practice.
  • Support the management and growth of the tax function.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Tax Manager, Assistant Tax Manager, or Senior Tax professional.
  • ATT and/or CTA qualified.
  • Strong technical knowledge across tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Experience reviewing tax returns and managing complex tax matters.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of trusts, probate, and non‑resident/non‑domiciled taxation is desirable.
