SCOPE OF POSITION

The Health Resource Supervisor assists in providing education, coordination, and support to staff while enforcing procedures/policies/practices/standards of the facility to promote, enhance, and maintain quality resident/client care. The Health Resource Supervisor also supports daily operational needs and clinical projects. The Health Resource Supervisor is a vital member of our dynamic team that collaborates with the Director of Nursing, Infection Preventionist, and Clinical Educator to assess and develop staff education and training programs, including clinical skills development. This role is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to ensure staff are properly educated and competent, and for providing educational offerings that meet current clinical standards of practice in the aging services industry.

The Health Resource Supervisor assists with New Hire Orientation by preparing educational materials and coordinating resources, offers clinical skills competency education and testing in alignment with the annual education work plan, including federal and state licensure requirements and industry regulatory standards, and actively participates in the QAPI process to improve clinical quality outcomes. In addition, the Health Resource Supervisor provides ongoing support to staff by working within departments and units to serve as a liaison between healthcare professionals, communicating important information, and coordinating care.

This position serves as a resource and mentor to both new and experienced staff, teaches and applies clinical expertise in daily practice, ensures the timely and accurate completion of medical necessity documentation/assessments/incident reports/care plans/medical records, and models, monitors, and supports compliance with clinical standards of care. The role also includes monitoring EMR system clinical productivity levels to ensure quality and identify areas for improvement, conducting staff education and training on CPR, AED, and First Aid, and encouraging staff participation in continuous learning.

This position responds to emergency situations as needed and must be able to work scheduled hours based on the requirements of the position and department.

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Must possess and maintain a current, valid, unencumbered New Hampshire LPN or RN license.
  • Two (2) years Long Term Care experience, and
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in clinical leadership, training, education and/or organizational development.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
