Recruiter, Talent Manager

If you have experience in the transportation industry, then this full-time, direct-hire Recruiter position is for you! You’ll help source talent for our growing client, including CDL drivers, towing operators, diesel mechanics, road technicians, dispatchers, and fleet support roles.

Responsibilities of the Recruiter

• Partner with leadership and HR team to identify talent needs
• Recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates
• Source candidates via applicant tracking systems, job boards, social media, and employee referrals
• Network with industry organizations, driving schools, military transition programs, trade schools, and state-managed employee security programs
• Attend job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives as needed
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent management
• Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications of the Recruiter

• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related experience in the field preferred
• 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in trucking, transportation, towing, logistics, or skilled trades
• Experience recruiting safety-sensitive or 24/7 operational roles
• Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA hiring requirements (or ability to learn quickly)
• Strong interviewing, communication, networking, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suites;
  Knowledge of Jazz HR, Paylocity, a plus
