Hunter Shore Group has been retained by a leading food organization to identify a Human Resources Industrial Director for a significant U.S. business.
This is a highly strategic HR leadership role supporting the broader industrial organization across Manufacturing/Supply Chain, Quality, R&D and Industrial Engineering
.
This leader will play an important role in an organization undergoing meaningful transformation and growth. Key areas of focus will include:
- Developing and executing the people and workforce strategy across multiple manufacturing locations
- Partnering with senior operations leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and talent strategy
- Driving succession planning and leadership development across the plant network
- Supporting organizational design and evolving leadership structures
- Addressing labor, retention and workforce challenges through sustainable, data-driven strategies
- Helping integrate teams and build a consistent, high-performance culture
- Providing leadership and guidance around employee relations, investigations and grievances
- Partnering across HR and the business on broader organizational initiatives and transformation
We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded HR leader who understands the realities of a manufacturing environment and can operate effectively from the plant floor through the executive level.
The ideal candidate will bring:- Significant HR leadership experience within food, beverage or FMCG/CPG manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience supporting a multi-site manufacturing network
- Strong business partnership experience with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations leadership
- Experience developing workforce, talent and succession strategies
- The ability to balance strategic leadership with the realities of a fast-moving manufacturing organization
- Strong change-management and organizational transformation capabilities
- Union/labor relations experience is highly desirable
- The ability to challenge, influence and partner effectively with senior leaders
- Willingness to travel approximately 25%
The role will be based in Northeast region and operates on a hybrid schedule. State specific information to be discussed during an interview. Flexibility to be present with the business and manufacturing sites when needed is important.
