Are you an experienced Parts Specialist, Parts Counterperson, Parts Advisor, or Parts Clerk with knowledge of commercial trucks, diesel engines, automotive, or heavy equipment? We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Parts Counter Specialist to support our busy service and repair operations in Exeter, NH.

In this role, you will work directly with technicians, vendors, service teams, and customers to identify, source, order, receive, and distribute parts and shop supplies. Your work will play a critical role in keeping repair operations moving and minimizing vehicle downtime. Manage computerized parts catalogs and maintain accurate inventory records Identify parts and components needed for truck, diesel, automotive, and heavy equipment repairs Issue parts and materials to service technicians Source and procure replacement parts, assemblies, and shop supplies Work with vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery information Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and properly documented Process invoices, purchase orders, and inventory documentation Obtain quotes for major purchases and secure required approvals Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment Help prevent repair delays by ensuring technicians have the correct parts when needed Maintain accurate parts inventory and purchasing records Stay current on product updates, pricing changes, technical service bulletins, and vendor information Work closely with technicians, service advisors, operations, purchasing, and management Maintain an organized and efficient parts counter and inventory area Provide professional and responsive customer service What We're Looking For Previous experience in a parts department, parts counter, parts warehouse, or automotive/truck service environment Knowledge of commercial truck, diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment parts Ability to accurately identify and locate mechanical and vehicle components Experience supporting technicians in a repair or maintenance environment Strong inventory control and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable using computers, inventory systems, electronic parts catalogs, and Microsoft Office Strong data-entry and basic mathematical skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, team-oriented, and customer-focused approach

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous parts, inventory, warehouse, purchasing, or related experience Basic knowledge of mechanical, automotive, diesel, or heavy-duty parts Computer proficiency Strong organizational and communication skills
