Responsibilities:

• Analyzes changes or new issues in materials and supply to reduce cost and improve quality
• Purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors
• Generate purchase orders to outside vendors such as offshore vendors and Product Burn-in companies
• Purchase materials, equipment and supplies needed to build product
• Negotiate with vendors for pricing on materials, equipment and supplies
• Monitor MRP daily and work closely with Planner/Scheduler to ensure on time ordering and delivery of product
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 2
-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area, familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected .

Skills: Ability to evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers

Ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks
