River Woods in Exeter is currently seeking a Security / Maintenance Technician to join our team and help provide excellent and quality customer service in support of our residents and community. This is a full‑time Sunday – Thursday role covering the 2nd shift (4 pm – 12 am). Snow removal may also require additional flexibility of schedule.

- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, responding to Work Orders in order of priority or as directed. Respond to urgent requests from staff and residents in a timely manner.
- Perform floor care on a regular basis.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspection tasks.
- Respond to pull‑cord and pendant activations or alarms, and to all other emergency situations as required. Work with emergency responders to ensure the fastest possible response time to 911 calls.
- Perform custodial functions for common areas, including public bathrooms, at all times that housekeeping is not on duty or unavailable.
- Participate in seasonal snow clean‑up, clearing resident cars, and performing other snow‑related duties.
- Support after‑hour emergency requirements. May be subject to “on call” status.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum two years in a building maintenance role essential.
- Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or another trade is desirable.
- Valid driver’s license required.
