Production Engineer - Night Shift

This engineer will be embedded in the daily operations of our 24/7 facility, working to optimize processes, solve real-world problems, and help shape the future of sustainable manufacturing.

This role follows a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, working 3 days one week and 4 days the following week overnight.

• Operate and monitor advanced production equipment used in clean metals processing
• Perform in-process checks and adjustments to ensure consistent product quality
• Collect, analyze, and report production data to support process improvements
• Perform basic mechanical and operational troubleshooting on production systems
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and uptime
• Conduct equipment startups, shutdowns, and transitions between production runs
• Work closely with shift leads and operators to ensure operational excellence
• Support new process development and implementation on the floor
• Uphold and enforce safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safe operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in operating and understanding industrial equipment
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and quickly adapt to new systems and processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic production setting
• Must be able to work in a 24/7 facility (rotating shifts)
