The Precision Assembler and Brazer will be responsible for the assembly, straightening and dip brazing of aluminum chassis for the Aerospace and Defense industries. This is a critical role within the Brazing team and requires a detailed mind set. This role reports directly to the Dip Braze Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Strive towards a culture of proactive safety.
- Precision mechanical assembly of complex assemblies using internal drawings, shop travelers, set-up sheets and measuring tools.
- Dip Brazing, pre and post braze straightening.
- Chemical cleaning of components.
- Preventative maintenance and equipment calibration.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).
- Ability to read mechanical symbols and prints.
- Great manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Previous manufacturing experience required.
- Dip braze experience a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to read internal drawings and use basic measuring equipment.
