CNC Machinist, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Our client is looking for a CNC Machinist. This long‑term role offers the opportunity to work on state‑of‑the‑art CNC milling and lathe machines that produce critical components for space and military applications. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, performing quality inspections, and supporting the creation of complex parts that help defend and explore our world.
You will be performing quality work checks to ensure the accuracy of your machine’s output, conducting routine maintenance, maintaining production and quality documentation, and verifying dimensions of finished parts using precision measuring instruments. Additionally, you will assist in inspecting finished parts, set up machines for the first run, and select the appropriate tools and fixtures for CNC programs.
Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM, with every other Friday off (9/80 schedule).
Required Skills,Education and Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC milling or CNC lathe machines
- Strong knowledge of dimensional inspection and the use of precision measuring instruments
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience working within controlled environments requiring ITAR or EAR compliance and U.S. export licenses
