Job Description
The Process Operations Technician III combines fabrication skills and the use of composite materials to manufacture assemblies. Manufacture components and assemblies from raw materials by following written process and verbal instructions.
Responsibilities- Work from process routing cards and detailed procedures, or verbal instructions to manufacture a variety of products
- Use tooling/fixturing for alignment and processing during the manufacturing process
- Set up and operate various types of equipment while maintaining a safe environment, including ovens, coating and plating baths, alignment and measuring equipment, exhaust hoods, sanding tables and others as required
- Mix materials such as resins, catalysts and fillers according to process instructions
- Apply, cure and sand filler materials used to remove pin‑holes and smooth imperfections in preparation for the painting process
- Cut material to size, using shears, knives, cutters, scissors, router, or saw
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the area of responsibility
