Job Description
The Process Operator II troubleshoots process problems during production. They also maintain production equipment and review data to ensure product quality.
This is a 2nd Shift Position. Hourly rate plus shift differential.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain a chemical clean line to remove contaminants from components before and after the aluminum dip braze process.
- Perform chemical film (iridite) treatments in accordance with military, aerospace, and customer specifications.
- Follow detailed work instructions and established procedures while safely handling chemicals and processing equipment.
- Inspect parts for cleanliness, surface condition, and coating quality to ensure compliance with production requirements.
- Accurately record process data and support quality assurance and production documentation.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, aprons, goggles, and other safety gear, while following all chemical handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in accordance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Interest in manufacturing, chemical processing, or aerospace production.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and following established procedures.
- Ability to work safely around chemicals and process equipment (training and PPE provided).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborating with a production team.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work second shift.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in area of responsibility.
