Job Description
Manual Machinist
- 1st & 2nd Shift
- $5,000 Sign-on Bonus
The Machinist is responsible to produce precision parts using machine tools and equipment. This involves measuring work pieces, installing machine parts, and performing quality inspections. Interview immediately!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Estimate dimensions of work pieces, products, or equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements
- Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools in order to perform precision machining operations
- Program more complex parts to be machined
- Measure and outline the parts to be machined using various devices and tools in order to obtain accurate dimensions
- Assist with design of basic manufacturing fixtures
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility.
- High School Diploma or GED
