Position Overview
Looking to grow their CRNA team, Exeter Hospital is a level 3 trauma center located in Exeter, New Hampshire. This community-based practice offers an anesthesia care-team model, embracing an excellent work-life balance and collegial environment. CRNAs practice with autonomy and are encouraged to practice to the full scope of their license, being comfortable with pediatrics is preferred. Some CRNAs may serve as clinical preceptors for nearby nurse anesthesia programs.
Exeter is conveniently located, being less than an hour from Boston and Portland, which is great for commuters within the family. Exeter is located next to the seacoast, and within close distance to mountains. This superb location is the quintessential place for both summer water sports and winter snow sports. There is great access to outdoor activities and notable schools, such as Phillips Exeter Academy.
Also, Boston's Logan airport is only an hour away for more extensive traveling. It is considered a great place for family living and community. There is no state income tax or sales tax.
Case Assignments: General surgery, ortho, endo, ENT, GYN, labor and delivery, ophthalmology, urology, vascular, plastics, healthy peds, dental. No head/hearts or chronic pain.
Shifts: 8- and 10-hour shifts available. No nights, weekends or on-call. Voluntary call available for additional income potential.

- CRNAs work in a care-team model and have the ability to practice with autonomy.
- CRNAs are encouraged to practice full scope with options to perform regional anesthesia (spinal and blocks).
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtain and/or verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
