River Woods Exeter seeks a compassionate MNA to provide safe, accurate medication administration and supportive care to older adults in our continuing care retirement community. In this role, you'll pass medications, document care, monitor resident status, and promptly report changes to licensed nursing staff. You'll assist with ADLs, promote dignity and independence, and build meaningful relationships with residents and families. Responsibilities

  • Administer oral, topical, and other permitted medications per provider orders and facility policies
  • Accurately document medication administration, refusals, and PRN effectiveness in electronic health records
  • Monitor residents for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions; promptly report changes to licensed nurses
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility) as needed
  • Maintain medication carts, supplies, and a clean, safe resident environment
  • Follow infection prevention and safety protocols at all times
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Support person-centered care plans that promote dignity, choice, and independence
  • Participate in shift handoffs, team meetings, and required trainings
