Join River Woods Exeter as an LNA/MNA providing compassionate evening care to residents in our continuing care retirement community. In this full-time role, you'll assist with daily living activities, administer medications per certification, monitor resident conditions, and support a safe, respectful environment. You'll collaborate closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to promote dignity, comfort, and wellness. Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility for senior residents
  • Support residents with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices, following proper body mechanics and safety protocols
  • Monitor and record vital signs and other basic clinical observations, reporting changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff
  • Administer medications within LNA/MNA scope of practice and state regulations, following established medication administration procedures
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care, observations, and medication administration in accordance with facility policies
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident call lights and requests, providing compassionate, person-centered care
  • Assist with mealtime support, including setting up trays, feeding assistance as needed, and encouraging hydration and adequate nutrition
  • Promote infection control and safety by following established procedures for hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, and environmental cleanliness
  • Participate in shift change reports and communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Build supportive relationships with residents and their families, demonstrating respect, patience, and empathy in all interactions
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and homelike environment in resident rooms and common areas
  • Support residents' evening routines and bedtime preparation during the 3p-11p shift, providing comfort and reassurance
