Weekend Nurse Supervisor

Exeter Center, a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing facility in Exeter, NH, seeks a Weekend Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical care on weekend shifts. You will oversee nursing staff, coordinate resident care, respond to changes in condition, and ensure regulatory compliance in a resident-centered, long-term care and rehab setting. This role includes mentoring nurses and CNAs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, supporting quality and safety initiatives, and promoting a compassionate, team-focused culture while delivering high-impact patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision for weekend nursing staff on assigned units
• Oversee resident care delivery, ensuring adherence to care plans, policies, and regulatory standards
• Conduct rounds, assess resident conditions, and intervene in changes of status
• Coordinate staffing, assignments, and workflow to maintain safe nurse-to-resident ratios
• Support, mentor, and coach RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to promote clinical excellence and teamwork
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams on resident care plans
• Respond to emergencies, perform clinical procedures, and ensure accurate documentation
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to support a resident-centered environment
• Monitor quality, infection control, and safety practices during weekend shifts
• Report critical issues, incidents, and handoff information to weekday leadership
