Dent Repair Technician (PDR Technician)

Exeter

£40,000 Basic Salary

Monday to Friday | 08:30 - 17:30

Are you an experienced Dent Repair Technician looking to join a respected, award-winning automotive group? Our client, City West Country, is seeking a skilled PDR Technician to join their growing operations team in Exeter. The Role

As a Dent Repair Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to the highest standards, carrying out paintless dent repairs and minor bodywork repairs efficiently and professionally.

Key duties include:

  • Assessing vehicle damage including dents, dings, creases, and minor panel damage
  • Carrying out Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) techniques
  • Repairing minor body panel defects and restoring vehicle appearance
  • Preparing vehicles for refinishing where required
  • Polishing panels and rectifying minor scratches and surface imperfections
  • Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer and quality standards
  • Working closely with quality control and workshop teams
  • Completing repair documentation accurately
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience in dent repair, vehicle body repair, or automotive preparation
  • Proven Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) experience
  • Strong understanding of vehicle body repair techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
