Parts Driver

Job Summary

The part-time Parts Driver is responsible for moving parts, goods, and other merchandise between all company locations, as well as to internal and external customers.

Compensation is based on experience, and ranges from $18/HR to $22/HR.

• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day, with oversight from the parts department manager.
• Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.
• Deliver and pick up items to and from specific locations obtaining signatures when necessary.
• Ensure orders picked up and delivered are accurate and complete by checking packing slips, invoices, etc.
• Maintain basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle(s) receive basic service according to maintenance schedule, reporting larger service needs and mechanical issues with the Parts Manager.
• Assist in general parts department and shop duties when delivery route is completed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to drive safely, and to company policy
• Ability to use navigation tools such as GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
• Ability to plan delivery routes
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Ability to carry out a service of instructions without constant supervision.
• Able to always remain professional and courteous.
• Be organized with attention to detail, and able to manage time properly.

• High school diploma.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving records.
