Schedule:
Part-time, 20 - 25 hours/week when school is in session. Monday-Friday 8:00am-1:00pm. May include days, nights, and/or weekends, flexibility to work all shifts as needed covering Academy sponsored functions and attending training sessions. Schedule may vary according to departmental and Academy needs.

This position is responsible for the pickup and delivery of food, equipment and supplies between Dining Services operations and catering events driven by the needs of the business. These include daily food deliveries between operations, catering deliveries, dorm deliveries, picking up of equipment/supplies in dorms and support in Lamont Health deliveries.
Job Responsibilities- Proper maintenance and storage of food items and equipment in delivery vehicles.
- Keep all equipment, vehicles, hand trucks, dollies clean and in working order.
- Responsible for basic maintenance of vehicle/s, ensuring gas, oil and tire pressure. Report any problems to direct supervisor.
- Maintaining proper storage and return of items to correct storage areas.
- Adhering to established protocols, policies, driving zones and speed of vehicle.
- Adherence to Dining Services and Academy policies and procedures.
- Adhering to Serve Safe best practices in securing the transportation of food and supplies.
- Assist in maintaining complete and accurate inventories of all items
- Observe all policies including MSDS, safety and sanitation.
- Keep informed of all material safety data.
- Perform custodial, dishwashing, production and delivery driver duties as assigned

- Ability to work independently, manage one's time to complete daily responsibilities and tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience and/or basic understanding of using computers to access e-mail notifications.
- Strong organizational skills in managing inventories and documentation related to job requirements.
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Some college experience helpful.
- Serv Safe certification is required. Must be able to obtain certificate within 60 days of hire (attend required class and pass test).
Experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Driving experience of commercial vehicles preferred.
- Experience in working in an institutional or campus setting.
- Customer service experience desirable.
- Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting is preferred.
