Wawaloam is a small school serving students in grades K and 1 only.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tiered interventions to identified students in small group, whole class, and/or individual settings as appropriate.
• Design and implement interventions consistent with Science of Reading training.
• Conduct progress monitoring.
• Support the PLP and IEP process as necessary.

• Must hold appropriate RI certification as an elementary (or K-12) Reading Specialist. Early childhood experience as a reading specialist preferred.
• Must demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, including classroom teachers, other support staff and administration.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
