- Wawaloam Elementary School Wawaloam is a small school serving students in grades K and 1 only. Provide tiered interventions to identified students in small group, whole class and/or individual students as appropriate. Interventions and support consistent with Science of Reading training. Progress monitoring. Supporting the PLP and IEP process, as necessary. Position Type:

• Must hold appropriate RI certification as an elementary (or K-12) Reading Specialist. Early childhood experience as a reading specialist preferred. Must demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, including classroom teachers, other support staff and administration.
• At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
