- Wawaloam is a small school serving students in grades K and 1 only.
- Provide tiered interventions to identified students in small group, whole class and/or individual students as appropriate.
- Interventions and support consistent with Science of Reading training.
- Progress monitoring.
- Supporting the PLP and IEP process, as necessary.
- Must hold appropriate RI certification as an elementary (or K-12) Reading Specialist. Early childhood experience as a reading specialist preferred. Must demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, including classroom teachers, other support staff and administration.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
- Only complete School Spring application packets with letter of intent (Cover Letter) will be considered. Please do not send paper applications.
- If applicable, applicant must be currently certified by the Rhode Island Department of Education for the position for which they are applying.

- BCI – Criminal Records Check (including fingerprints) addressed to EWG– (Please bring the attached Criminal Records Check Consent and Disclaimer Form to your hometown police station for processing)
