• Rhode Island teacher certification (or eligibility) as an art teacher is preferred. The district is willing to work with new graduates, or with individuals who may qualify for emergency certification in art (based on education and experience).
• Individual must demonstrate the ability to engage young learners in hands-on, rich learning experiences and seek opportunities for technology integration and collaboration with classroom teachers as well as the team of Metcalf specials teachers.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
