We support the Job Corps program’s mission to teach eligible young people the skills they need to become employable and independent and place them in meaningful jobs or further education. Our center specializes in Culinary Arts, Welding, Electronics Engineering, and Patient Care.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, professional reference check, and motor vehicle record check.

• Assist with the supervision of a comprehensive and diverse recreation program
• Coordinate recreation activities with Career Preparation Period and Social Development staff for evening programming
• Coordinate recreation and leadership activities/programs with center and local community resources
• Ensure safe practices and program compliance within prescribed safety guidelines
• Document student participation and accountability during recreation activities
• Maintain inventory of equipment and materials and control their use; recommend purchase of specific equipment
• Maintain overall appearance, condition, and organization of the recreation department facilities
• Other duties as assigned

Saturday‑Sunday: 10am‑7pm / Monday: 1pm‑10pm / Tuesday‑Wednesday: 2pm‑11pm / Thursday‑Friday:
Off.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate of Arts Degree preferred
• 1 year related experience working with youth
• Must possess a valid in‑state driver’s license and meet company insurability requirements as this position requires frequent student transport
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching
• Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance
