About the Academy: We support the Job Corps program’s mission to teach eligible young people the skills they need to become employable and independent and place them in meaningful jobs or further education. Our center specializes in Culinary Arts, Welding/Construction, Electronics Engineering, and Patient Care.

Employment Requirements: Employment at Exeter Job Corps is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, professional reference check and motor vehicle record check.

Sunday–Monday 11:30pm–8:30am / Tuesday–Wednesday OFF / Thursday–Friday–Saturday 11:30pm–8:30am

• Helps maintain a safe and secure environment on center
• Complies with DOL/Company reporting requirements
• Compiles, analyzes and summarizes safety/security data and takes appropriate actions to resolve issues and concerns
• Coordinates staff coverage to ensure student areas are supervised
• Helps conduct and document Center‑wide safety and accident prevention training
• Conducts and documents incident and accident investigations per established timelines and requirements
• Conducts routine safety inspections and assessments of all Center equipment and facilities to identify potential safety and security hazards
• Responsible for Center security, visitor control and student accountability
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be 21 years or older to apply
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• A minimum of one year military, law enforcement, or security experience required
• A valid driver's license required – applicant must have a relatively clean driving record
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching
