Constellation is recruiting experienced Sous Chefs for casual and temporary roles across schools, care homes, and contract catering sites, working in line with Compass Group standards. These roles offer a mix of short-term assignments and ongoing opportunities, perfect for chefs looking for flexible, weekday daytime work.

• Predominantly Monday to Friday, daytime shifts
• Casual and temporary contracts, with some ongoing placements
• Work within education, care, and contract catering environments
• Competitive hourly rates, paid weekly
• Support from a leading hospitality provider

• Supporting the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations
• Delivering food to a high standar n teams during service
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, allergen, hygiene, and H&S standards
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
• Supervising and supporting kitchen

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef
• Experience in schools, care homes, or contract catering (preferred)
• Good understanding of Compass Group standards
• Ability to adapt quickly to different sites and teams
• DBS preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Level 2 Food Safety (minimum)
