We are seeking a Senior or Principal Ecologist with a passion for birds or bats to join a friendly and supportive consultancy in Exeter.

About the role:

You’ll be working as part of a vibrant and close‑knit team for a growing consultancy with expertise in ecology, BNG, arboriculture and land management. You’ll be conducting surveys, writing reports and managing a diverse range of projects within a positive, collaborative and fun work environment.

• 4+ years UK ecology consultancy experience
• Specialism in birds or bats
• Full range of survey skills and report writing, including habitats and protected species surveys
• Thorough knowledge of wildlife legislation and the planning system
• Confident and skilled at providing technical advice to clients
• A client‑focused approach with good understanding of commercial elements of projects
• Member of CIEEM
• Full driving licence
• Eligible to live and work in the UK

• Salary in the region of £32,000 - £45,000 per annum
