This is a full-time on-site role for an Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer, based in Devon or Cornwall. The role involves conducting installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial doors, automatic doors, gates, barriers, and loading bay equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and technical faults, performing safety inspections, ensuring compliance with current legislation, and completing both planned and emergency repairs efficiently. The engineer will collaborate with teams and clients to deliver high-quality service and maintain safety and operational standards.

• Strong proficiency in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering
• Ability to assess and resolve issues through Analytical Skills and Process Improvement techniques
• Excellent Communication skills for both client interactions and teamwork
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in engineering or a related technical field (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or higher)
• Experience with repair, maintenance, and installation of industrial and automatic equipment is highly desirable
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and dedication to delivering high-quality service
• Flexibility to work on-site and respond to emergency call-outs promptly
