We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician on behalf of our reputable client in the Exeter area. This HGV Technician role offers a fantastic opportunity for skilled professionals seeking career progression within a well‑established commercial workshop. - Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience

- Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for mobile breakdowns
- Potential for vehicle provision based on individual needs

- Work with experienced teams in a modern, well‑equipped workshop
- Conduct diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on HGV and light commercial vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs) and prechecks
- Assist with breakdown cover and mobile service requirements as needed
- Maintain high standards of work quality, safety, and compliance
- Complete detailed service and repair records accurately
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient job completion and customer satisfaction
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or Mobile HGV Technician, with at least 2 years in a commercial vehicle workshop
- Strong diagnostic skills and comprehensive knowledge of HGV systems
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and prechecks accurately
- Flexibility to undertake mobile breakdown jobs and workshop duties
- Valid UK driving licence;
Class 1 or 2 licence is a bonus but not essential - Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
