Job Description:
As a Slinger Banksman / Traffic Marshall, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe movement of vehicles and machinery on site. You will be responsible for guiding crane operations, managing traffic flow, and maintaining a safe working environment on a busy construction site in Exeter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and guide crane operations safely as a Slinger Banksman.
- Control traffic and vehicle movements on‑site as a Traffic Marshall.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of lifting equipment.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel and management.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and lifting operations.
Requirements:
- Valid Slinger Banksman and Traffic Marshall certification.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused.
