Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Multiskilled Operative to carry out maintenance work on MOD housing projects in Exeter and the surrounding area. This is a permanent role with a starting salary of £34,000, plus a van and fuel card.
The position will begin as a 12‑week temporary role through an agency before transferring to a permanent contract.
Responsibilities- All aspects of responsive maintenance on MOD properties.
- Carrying out a range of trade work including tiling, carpentry, minor plumbing, painting, kitchen and bathroom fitting, and some external work.
- Driving a work van safely and responsibly.
- Honest, reliable and with a good attitude.
- Good multi‑trade experience, ideally on social housing or MOD sites.
- Ability to obtain a DBS and BPSS security check and provide proof of employment and address for the last three years.
£34,000 per annum, plus van and fuel card.
LocationExeter, Devon, UK.
ContractPermanent full‑time. Initial 12‑week temporary placement through an agency.
