COMCAT Field Service Engineer

Devon & Cornwall 35,000- 45,000 DOE + Overtime + Company Van Full-time Permanent Field-Based

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a COMCAT Field Service Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering Devon and Cornwall.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer, COMCAT Engineer, Catering Equipment Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Commercial Kitchen Engineer or Service Engineer looking for a stable, long-term role with a company that values its engineers, offers ongoing training and career development, and provides the independence to manage your own workload.

Working across a variety of customer sites, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial catering equipment while delivering a high standard of customer service.

• Service, maintain and repair commercial catering equipment across customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work to commercial kitchen equipment.
• Support the installation and commissioning of commercial catering equipment where required.
• Complete service reports, compliance paperwork and job documentation accurately.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working independently across a field-based territory.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety regulations.

• Previous experience as a Commercial Catering Engineer, COMCAT Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Catering Equipment Engineer or similar.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial catering equipment.
• COMCAT qualification preferred.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based engineering role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

• 35,000- 45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
